About The Chart

Number placement within the inner profile chart.

What is the Inner Profile Chart

The Inner Profile Chart, also known as the Inner Profile Grid, is a numerological tool that offers a unique approach to self-awareness. Rooted in Pythagorean numerological principles, it differs from traditional numerology by preserving the integrity of each digit in a person’s birth date. Instead of reducing numbers to a single digit, this method arranges all birth date digits into a structured 3×3 grid, where each number holds distinct significance. This framework provides deeper insight into an individual’s personality, strengths, and behavioral tendencies.

Why Does This Method Stand Out?

The Inner Profile Chart is a valuable yet largely overlooked tool in modern numerology. While traces of it exist in older numerological texts, it remains underutilized in contemporary practice. Here’s why it deserves attention:

  • A Hidden Gem in Numerology – Despite its deep foundations in Pythagorean principles, this chart has not received the widespread recognition it merits, making it an exciting area for discovery.
  • Simple Yet Powerful – Unlike complex numerological systems, the Inner Profile Chart is easy to construct and interpret, making it accessible to anyone curious about self-exploration.
  • Comprehensive Insights – By preserving all digits from a birth date, this tool offers a more detailed understanding of a person’s inner world, strengths, and tendencies.

How the Inner Profile Chart Works

Each digit from a person’s birth date is placed into a 3×3 grid, with specific positions associated with distinct aspects of personality and self-expression. Unlike single-number reductions, this method retains all numerical influences, allowing for a more intricate and layered interpretation. Each number in the grid contributes unique qualities and energies, shaping an individual’s inner profile. Patterns, missing numbers, and recurring digits further refine the insights drawn from the chart.

A Transformative Tool for Self-Discovery

The Inner Profile Chart is more than just a numerological framework—it is a gateway to deeper self-awareness and personal growth. By exploring the unique numeric blueprint within a birth date, individuals gain a clearer understanding of their strengths, challenges, and potential. Whether used for personal insight or a broader exploration of numerology, this tool provides a structured and meaningful way to decode the inner self.

The 3x3 grid is the foundation for the construction of the inner profile chart.

How To Build Your Own Chart

Dating back to the time of Pythagoras, the Inner Profile Chart’s primary purpose is to offer a comprehensive view of an individual’s unique qualities and characteristics. These can manifest as strengths, weaknesses, traits, or attributes, depending on how they are understood and applied.  Each different birth date results in a unique chart providing a broad range of variations.  It is a simple and time tested method that can provide a wealth of personal insights.

Constructing this chart can be broken down into a series of steps. All that is required is a complete birth date, including the day, month, and year. Note that the order of the digits does not matter; only the collection of individual digits is used in the calculation.  Any zeros present within a date are ignored for the purpose of constructing the chart.

STEP 1:  Convert the Birth Date

Convert the selected birth date into its full numerical equivalent, ensuring all single-digit months and days are written as two digits. This guarantees consistency in the total number of digits (always eight in the format MM/DD/YYYY). For example:

Someone born on November 7, 1990 would write their birth date as 11/07/1990.

A person born on March 12, 1987 would write their birth date as 03/12/1987.

STEP 2:  Draw The Inner Profile Chart

The Inner Profile Chart consists of a grid with nine equal squares arranged in a 3×3 pattern. To create the grid:

Top row (left to right): 3, 6, 9

Draw two vertical lines and two horizontal lines to form a structure resembling a tic-tac-toe board.

The grid will have nine boxes, each assigned to a specific number from 1 to 9, as follows:

Bottom row (left to right): 1, 4, 7

Middle row (left to right): 2, 5, 8

STEP 3:  Assign Numbers From The Birth Date To The Chart

Each number in the birth date is placed in its corresponding box on the grid. Follow these rules:

  • Place each digit in its designated space, based on the number’s assigned box (e.g., the number 1 goes in the bottom-left box).
  • If a number appears more than once in the birth date, include each instance in the same box.
  • If a number is absent from the birth date, leave its box blank.

Here are some examples of a blank chart and some completed charts using the dates referenced in step 1:

03/12/1987

11/07/1990

Now that your chart has been created, take the next step and draw meaning from the numbers present.
